Live In The Light Prayer

Know your divinity.

And allow me, Your Radiant Self to emerge.

For your body is your Temple and your Sacred Passage.

A wealth of ancient knowledge

and an immaculate masterpiece of creation.

It is your divinity that brings forth life in every living cell.

And it is your love of the Light that brings forth Life.

Use your Light, and use it well.

Amen

This is a prayer I received as I was waking on the morning 15th April 2008. It arrived in this rhythmic completed form and I have been able to recite it in its completed form ever since that day. This was also the eve of my 49th birthday and the eve of my first public presentation of Living Attributes. It has become my divine creed and guideline for my life’s purpose.
I have been living this prayer daily now for five years and what follows is a detailed account of what the prayer is ultimately conveying, it has a simple but effective message of the absolute importance of maintaining one’s divinity. I hope it serves your soul as well as it has served mine.

Live in the Light Principles

1. Know your divinity.

This part of the prayer reminds you of your divine origins – Where do you believe you come from? What do you place your faith in? And do you know your own divine nature? These questions provide a meeting place for your worldly way and heart’s desire to be with your loving creator; your God. In this opening message of only three words, you are asked to remember your responsibility to God. For it is out of the relationship with your divinity that you are able to serve, feel, and love all that you have been given. You are able to know God more intimately from your ability to find where your own divinity lies. It is through the infinitely divine heart that one meets the Most Sacred And Holy One, which leads to the next expression.

2. And allow me, Your Radiant Self to emerge.

Now you begin to recognize the divine spark, the presence of the Radiant Self. Here is where you experience the self and God as one. This acknowledgment suggests that in the realm of divine consciousness there is no separation. This is the meeting of the true self. The Ego has given up its struggle for control and this divine union with the Most Sacred And Holy One has given the ego the peace it was seeking for. It now has no fear of separation, because the Radiant Self has emerged and taken dominion in your world of spirit and form.

3. For your body is your Temple.

Here you acknowledge the body as your temple and vehicle. The body in its full glory is a sacred and miraculous vessel. It gives your soul a vehicle to experience a life in the realm of the Physical. Like your soul, your body is multi-dimensional. It functions on many levels without your conscious awareness. When you are able to respect the needs and sanctity of the body you become closer to the true nature of your whole being. You become the ‘House’ of God and welcome all of your makers’ creations with an open heart.

4. And your Sacred Passage.

Through the relationship of divinity with your body, you obtain a regenerating higher frequency. This higher vibration transforms your basic body into a light body, which is your sacred passage. This is the Devotional Body; it is your connection to the Upper Worlds. Your Light Body creates a sacred passage between the worlds. It is your mode of transportation and gift that enables you to create heaven on earth.

5. A wealth of ancient knowledge and an immaculate masterpiece of creation.

Humans have been evolving for millions of years – the universe has been growing for over 13 billion years. And you are one of the results of that amazing evolution. The fact that you embody everything that has come before you gives you great power. You are literally a library; a wealth of pulsating knowledge that’s in every cell of your body. You are part animal, vegetable, and mineral. You are divine intelligence in motion; you create, evolve, think and respond. You are the incredible example of everything you know and don’t know all at once. You have an inner resource that occupies ’s and operates your body without conscious command. You are miraculous.

6. It is your divinity that brings forth life in every living cell.

Here you acknowledge the light as your divinity. The more you are able to see your light and divinity as the life force that sustains all life, the more life/light you create. It is through your heartfelt gratitude and deepest love that the Creator can give us a full and healthy life. Without this eternal spark, you are not fully ignited/united.

7. And it is your love of the Light that brings forth Life.

The love of the light is the respect and embodiment of the God force. The more you acknowledge the evolutionary power of God, and your ability to participate in the larger divine plan, the more Gods divine plan is revealed to you. You are a spark in the mind of God that has taken on a human form. Your ability to create and sustain life is part of your divine nature. When you are creating life with every breath, thought and action you are happy, God is happy.

8. Use your Light, and use it well.

Once you have come to the realization that you are a piece of Gods light in the world, you begin to use that light wisely. You remember the divine placement of this precious gift and know not to throw it around like loose change, but rather give your contribution to the world with great reverence. This light; your gift was given to you freely and with profound love.

So, in conclusion, you must be willing to share your gift with an equivalent devotion.

Realms of Consciousness

This month at Temple de Lumiere we celebrated the archetype of the Enchantress, which was presented by Souzi Wilson. I would like to acknowledge Souzi for her wonderful presentation that centered around family, forgiveness and sensuality. Her message really brought home the power of love and forgiveness. At the end of Souzi’s story she graced us all with a joyful song that she wrote called “Forgive Yourself”. Thank you again Souzi for sharing your beautiful voice and story with us.

The other part of our morning was spent exploring the four realms of consciousness and how these different levels of reality are not just some lofty experience we have in meditation, but rather they are indeed real levels of experience in our daily life. What follows is a description of how we can work with each of our archetypes in these realms to fulfill our true purpose in life.

Physical Realm (OUR EARTHLY NEEDS)                                                                    

What is the nature of your life purpose? This is where you draw on the qualities of your particular archetype in the physical sense. This archetype helps you to stay focused on your true nature in your life/business/vocation. By identifying with the particular attributes of this cornerstone you gain finer distinctions regarding WHAT your foundational aptitude is and then accordingly activate it in your life. This archetype is the driving force behind the way you present your self in the world.

Emotional Realm (FEELINGS & RELATIONSHIPS)                                                    

Why are you in this particular vocation/relationship? This archetypes true power stems from its emotional nature and is the one you draw from to get your message across. The way to be attractive in your vocation/life is by appealing to the emotional needs of your particular relationships/market or audience. Authenticity is paramount and this is the realm of feelings, so coming from your heart and rather than your head is the best way to deliver your communication/message. By applying the attributes from this archetype, rather than trying to copy someone else’s mode of conduct, you will feel comfortable and more confident in your style and delivery. When you are emotionally connected to WHY you are sharing your vision or your life, people will respond accordingly.

Spiritual Realm (CREATIVE PROCESS & SKILLS)                                                        

How do you like to operate and relate in your vocation? Here is where you connect to HOW you like to be creative; the way you like to express your inner resources and abilities. Ask yourself what creative systems/modalities do you like to work with the most. The attributes of this archetype will signify what sustains your inner world, your spirit. When you are unable to serve this part of yourself, it will show up in your vocation. A lack of spirit is not attractive; where as a vision that is alive with your own personal spark is what keeps people interested. The great thing about this insight is you don’t have to do anything but be yourself and be a creative expression of your vision in your life.

Celestial Realm (ALLIANCE & EXCELLENCE)                                                                  

Who are the people you want to serve or team up with? This is the key to finding out what your true niche is. This is how to best serve the people you are in alignment with in the world. These are the people WHO want to benefit from your highest and most refined talents. This is where you really shine; using the attributes of this particular archetype will help you identify and attract the people who want to listen to you, buy your products and use your services. These attributes are the key to revealing your true excellence and perfected nature. This is you matching your intention with the intention of creation and evolution. 

Loving Our Differences

We are not meant to only respect each other’s differences, we are meant to love them – that is the Creators intention.                                                                          

Pathways of Light are a valuable component of the Living Attributes system. There are three combinations and streams of energy defined as your pathways of light. Each pathway (contemplation, devotion, activation) has an important function that instructs you at a soul level of how to use your light. These light streams are what activate and illuminate the Cornerstones of your Sacred Temple.

What this means is that each Cornerstone has a particular relationship with the light. For example, the archetypical patterns in Contemplation are the collectors and weavers of light, while the patterns in Devotion are the receivers and givers of light and the archetypical patterns in Activation are the transformers and activators of the light.

Each one has a valuable and unifying function in the larger divine matrix. Understanding and following the divine order of our personal patterning creates a rhythmic and cosmic beauty and a creative platform for the birth of unity consciousness. In each realm, there is another person’s archetype patterning (cornerstone) that can support yours.

For example if you have the archetype of ‘the visionary’ in the Emotional Realm you could work with ‘the teacher‘ who is also in the Emotional Realm to help format your ideas, they could receive what you have collected and help you by giving back to the whole; the community, the world, which ultimately creates the reality of unity consciousness.

 Contemplation – FROM THE CREATOR collectors and weavers of the Light

  • This is where you receive WHAT it is that you need to do in your life. This cornerstone or these cornerstones are connected to the light stream for true inspiration. A place you visit within, which opens you to your Divine guidance.

 Devotion – FOR THE CREATOR receivers and givers of the Light

  • This is where you receive WHY you do it. These cornerstones are the portals to the power of being fully present. This light stream is where you match your intention with Gods intention.

Activation – WITH THE CREATOR transformers and activators of the Light

  • This is where you receive HOW you do it. These cornerstones are the portals for the light streams of motivation and initiation. This is where you find your pathway of – “For the greater good of all.”

As you can see, we all connect with the Creator in different ways. Some through pure intention, others connect in the doing and being with others or nature, while others prefer to emerge in the arts or meditation. It’s fascinating and somehow comforting to know.

The precious gift I see in all our diversity is that we are the way we are for reasons we can’t even fathom. If we could see the true beauty in the order of all our complexities, we would indeed witness the true nature and glory of THE CREATOR.

Being a Mentor is a gift to your Soul

I was asked to be a mentor by a young woman – My first thoughts were…

Do I have time for it?

Am I wise enough to be a mentor?

Does one get paid for such a thing?

Blah Blah Blah !

Because it set off so many thought processes around it, I knew I needed to step back and look at what was really happening here. I then saw how my ego was trying to trip me up.

Once I had given myself some time to be still and see what I was really being asked to do – it was clear. For someone to ask you to mentor them is a God given privilege and an honorable duty to accept with grace.

The process of meeting with this delightful young woman was actually a gift to me as well; it has moved me forward on my own journey. It became very clear to me that it is a natural and essential way for humans to interact and grow. Since then I have been asked to mentor 2 other young women and I look forward to each of their visits with absolute excitement.

I now believe our lack of connection with each other causes most of our social problems.

Unfortunately some parents don’t even recognize they are mentors for their children and I think if the aged population had a young person visiting them for mentoring once a fortnight they to would be alive with purpose and active in ways they didnt know possible. Simply listening to the thoughts and perspectives of a young person would help to stimulate their thinking and expand their world. And of course the wisdom and stories that an elder can pass on are equally as valuable to our youth.

After a year of mentoring I came to the conclusion that ‘If you are not mentoring, you need to be mentored’ it is a continuum so to speak. A giving back to the world, your community, through your life experiences and a receiving process that comes with a level of respect that one cant find anywhere else in life.

I strongly believe that the rightful practice of mentoring in our world is the key to true human sustainability.

What follows is a small piece I wrote on the matter:

The Power of Mentoring –

Through the simple act of being a Mentor or being Mentored, we uncover our true purpose in life.

It is from this revered action of commitment and appreciation that an individual’s generosity and integrity abound.

From our somewhat hidden nature we find strength and unity.

We miraculously blossom and move forward with hope in our hearts for the generations to come.
