Your Heart Holds Great Power

Hello Beautiful Souls, today I am talking about our greatest gift.

The heart is where polarities dissolve into sacred union, where dualities meet and merge. It is the centre of magnetism and the seat of higher consciousness. When you activate your heart centre, you awaken the divine within yourself—a divine vessel marked by wholeness. (Holiness)

If the heart is the centre of wholeness, then from this elevated consciousness, you transcend lack and separation. You move beyond duality, beyond the confines of the analytical mind. In this space, there is no striving, no longing—only fulfillment. You feel the power of your heart come alive, and that power is L O V E.

At first, stepping into this holy heart space may feel unfamiliar to you. You may find yourself stuck in your mind, as though opening your heart is something you must master or perfect. But it’s simpler than that: opening your heart is a choice. It’s a choice to feel love. A choice to risk vulnerability.

Here, in this new state of expansion and generosity, you deepen the process of opening your heart by making yet another choice—the choice to give of yourself. Giving, by its very nature, embodies love and wholeness. And what better time to explore this than during the holiday season?

The Holy Days ~ The season of wholeness

Science confirms what your heart already knows: when you give, you release oxytocin—the “feel-good” hormone. This sets off a chain reaction in your body, opening and expanding the arteries that feed your heart. Your heart awakens, activated by the very act of giving.

I’ve seen this unfold time and again—when women come together in circle during Temple Green Gatherings, through deep dives into wholeness at Wisdom of the Ages workshops, and through quiet moments of heart-centred meditation. When you tune into your heart, it becomes effortless to connect, commune, and relate. From a full heart, love flows naturally to others.

The Living Attributes meditation has been crafted to guide you into that place of heart-centred wholeness. From there, you can cultivate the deep feelings of fulfillment that allow your heart to open—not just for yourself, but for others.

When you allow another soul to feel your love, you offer them the greatest gift you can give. To love without conditions is to breathe the life force into them, to remind them of their own wholeness.

In the spirit of these Holi-days, I invite you to give from the Wholeness of your Heart. Allow the act of giving to awaken something deeper within you—your Soul. For in giving Love, you embody Life itself.

Acceptance and Forgiveness

I am sure you have heard many times about how important it is to forgive. And I am sure you have experienced that it is easier said than done. So, I thought it fitting to share what I believe to be the most effective way to find the path of Acceptance Forgiveness and Self-Love.

I have experienced a number of traumatic and violent events in my early life, which I had devotedly worked on at an emotional level.

What I didn’t know was my spirit needed to witness a powerful personal re-cognising of my past before it could release its husk of former pain. I needed to know I was truly ready to move forward in my life as a new version of myself.

How I experienced the shift was through the natural but powerful release of the fear and shock that had been locked in my amazing vessel; my body. That energy was locked tight in my body for 38 years waiting for its time to be naturally released. It brought to the surface the need to Accept and Forgive. Now that didn’t mean I condone particular behaviour, what it meant was that I accept that I could NOT change the pain of my past, even though I wished I could, many times over I wanted the nightmare to just disappear.

But the truth is it did happen to me and the time had come to not brush it aside and just get on with life. No, the time had come to look at it for what it was and say, “I accept that these terrible things happened to me” because that is the truth and a reality I have to live with.

It was only then that I was able to truly forgive with every fiber of my body and being.

Here is an example of how I found my own acceptance and forgiveness; you may have a situation or someone you want to be set free from.

“I accept that I was violently attacked and sexually abused by a heartless young man when I was 16….

And I forgive him anyway.”

I also added

“I also accept that I made a series of bad choices that night…

And I forgive and love myself anyway.”

This simple but amazing process of acceptance and forgiveness gave me back my power.

This process of acceptance and forgiveness can also work well for healing the Pain Points in past life integration and new narrative therapy.

So often we give up our power – sometimes it’s in huge proportions, but most of the time it’s in many small moments, which we think won’t matter. What happens though is all those small moments add up to a mountain of your power, which is sitting somewhere with your name on it.

I invite you to take back your POWER and live a life of true acceptance, forgiveness, and self-love.

Exploring the Essence of Agapi

Witness

Today I am talking about Love, a simple yet complex concept embedded in the human experience, and it transcends cultural boundaries and languages. One term that encapsulates love’s multifaceted nature is “Agapi,” a word rooted in Greek culture. In this exploration, we delve into the depths of Agapi, examining its linguistic origins, cultural significance, and enduring relevance in our interconnected world.

Unravelling Linguistic Threads

Agapi, stemming from the word “agapao,” which means “to love” or “to prefer.” Unlike its counterparts like “eros” (romantic love) or “philia” (deep friendship), Agapi stands out for its broad and encompassing nature. It embodies a love that extends beyond romantic or familial ties, embracing a universal, selfless, and altruistic affection. Agape is a noun form of love, whereas Agapao is a verb form of love. – This suggests we can talk about Agape, but we must live out Agapao.

Cultural Significance

Embedded in Greek philosophy and literature, Agapi weaves itself into the fabric of cultural expressions. It echoes in the works of ancient philosophers like Plato and Aristotle, who pondered the essence of love and its impact on human connections. Agapi also resonates in Greek mythology, where tales of self-sacrifice and compassion highlight the virtues of this profound form of love.

Agapi in Action

In contemporary times, the concept of Agapi continues to manifest itself in various aspects of human interaction. Acts of kindness, generosity, and compassion exemplify the principles of Agapi. It extends to charitable endeavours, community service, and global efforts to address societal challenges, emphasising a collective responsibility and care for one another.

Navigating the Nuances

Agapi’s expansive nature allows it to adapt to diverse contexts. It thrives in friendships, family bonds, and romantic relationships yet extends beyond personal connections. The term emphasises a commitment to the well-being of others, fostering empathy and understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.

Agapi is a Call to Action

Beyond its cultural and philosophical roots, Agapi resonates with spiritual and religious traditions. The idea of unconditional love, compassion, and benevolence aligns with various faiths’ teachings, emphasising humanity’s interconnectedness.

As we reflect on Agapi, it serves as a reminder of the transformative power of love in our lives. In a world often marked by differences, Agapi calls us to transcend boundaries and approach each other with kindness and understanding. It challenges us to embody love as a sentiment and a guiding principle shaping our actions and relationships.

Agapi is a testament to love’s enduring and universal nature. As we navigate our human connections, Agapi beckons us to cultivate a love that uplifts, inspires, and unites us all.

Young Eva and the Model Maker

The following is a new extended narrative and timeline that I have crafted into my past life as a young woman in Prague and Paris. – I share this version with you, as it provides a clear example of what’s possible when creating an extended story for a past life that needs some tender loving care and a new timeline.

It was a world where unrest hung heavy in the air, A train journey marked a change, a path we’d share. Engaged for six months, my Beloved and I, Dreaming of a life in Prague or town nearby.

Closer to the station, the crowds began to swarm, Fearing for their future, in the chaos and storm. We stepped off the train, a sea of people deep, Contemplating our next steps, a promise to keep.

An older woman, draped in black taffeta and lace bonnet, Approached with urgency, a mission upon it. A wallet, notes neatly placed, she handed with care, “Give this to Rebecca,” her plea filled the air.

“See the child with blonde curls, the blue coat so fine, Give this to the woman, named Rebecca, in line.” My Beloved dashed away, a promise to fulfill, As the crowd surged forward, a chaotic, wild shrill.

“Go, I’ll wait here,” I said with despair, As the next train loomed, more people to bear. He ran down the platform, a figure in the tide, Then, a wave of chaos, and he was taken, no place to hide.

His head and arms above the crowd, a final wave, Frozen, overwhelmed, alone, his absence to crave. The train departed, hope dwindling with its steam, Alone in a troubled land, with a shattered dream.

Unable to return, a country in disarray, A decision made, a new life to convey. With a purse and a secret compartment concealed, To Paris, I journeyed, my fate to be revealed.

Jewels from my mother, my grandmother’s grace, Guiding me in this uncertain, uncharted space. A pouch held a locket, our love sealed in gold, A memory to cherish, a story to unfold.

Paris, a city of possibilities and dreams, A haven for artists, or so it seems. Guided by Domitelli, a woman so wise, Connections and pathways to artistic highs.

I painted, sewed, wrote, and styled, A metamorphosis in a city beguiled. Greta’s lessons, skills from a childhood past, Prepared me for a life that would forever last.

From a life of privilege to one of participation, I embraced change, a new determination. In a morning arrival, Paris embraced my soul, A new chapter unfolding, making me whole.

Roger and Domitelli, anchors in my storm, Guided me to trust, to a place that felt warm. A community of creatives, a family found, In the heart of Paris, my roots were bound.

Days turned to years, contentment in my heart, In Savoir Faire, a hat shop, my creative start. Dressing hair, crafting hats so fine, A paid endeavor, and a life to design.

Parisian streets, a canvas within my stride, With friends so dear, in joy, we’d confide. Trips into the countryside, champagne and delight, A new life blossoming in the City of Light.

In Pierre’s studio, a sanctuary to paint, A refuge from the world, a haven quaint. Embracing art, my soul set free, In my cathedral of creativity.

Days off were my canvas of my Parisian delight, The Ritz, and the Hôtel de la Païva, both in my sight. In my summer lounge, where thoughts could linger, I saw a familiar face, and memories trigger.

A man who resembled my Beloved so, I followed, with silent steps to know. As he spoke to a close friend, a truth was revealed, A reunion in Paris, a love to be healed.

“Eva?” he stammered, his face filled with surprise, Tears welled up as I met his eyes. Against all odds, we found each other anew, Embraced in the Hôtel de la Païva, love’s rendezvous.

Stories shared, of journeys and quests, Separated by fate, reunited, our love’s bequests. Triumphs and challenges, as time passed by, In a small Parisian chapel we did fly.

A life woven together, threads of truth and loves heart. Married in joy, a future to chart. In later years, a cottage in LaPounche’s embrace, Nature’s serenity, our lasting grace.

Wrinkled hands, hearts content, Reflecting on a life so well spent. Adversity faced, resilience found, joy lost and rediscovered, and love profound.

In the quiet of old age, under wisteria and bees, We closed our eyes, hearts forever at ease. Souls entwined, a story complete, A bouquet of joy, love’s victory sweet.

Embracing Vulnerability: The Courage to Love

Hello, beautiful Souls,

Today, I’ve got love on my mind, or should I say, heart. – I came across this piece of wisdom by C.S. Lewis today: “To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken.”

So, I thought I’d share a few ideas on LOVE.

The Heart’s Journey: A Blend of Courage and Vulnerability

Imagine your heart as a delicate vessel moulded from emotions, experiences, and connections. Lewis paints a vivid picture, suggesting that genuinely loving exposes this vessel to the world, making it susceptible to joy, sorrow, and everything in between. It’s a daring act, an open invitation to both the beauty and fragility of the human experience.

In your journey through life, you’ve likely encountered moments when love brought immense joy but also times when it felt like your heart might shatter into a million pieces. Lewis encourages you to embrace this vulnerability, acknowledging that the risk of a broken heart is an inherent part of the profound mystery of love.

The Container of Self-serving: A Tempting Refuge

Yet, the temptation to shield your heart from potential pain looms large. Lewis suggests an alternative – the casket or coffin of selfishness. Picture locking away your spirit in a secure box, surrounded by the comforts of solitude and guarded by the fortress of self-preservation. It sounds like a foolproof plan to keep your heart intact.

However, as Lewis wisely points out, your heart undergoes a transformation within that casket, safe but stagnant. It becomes not unbreakable in the sense of immunity to pain, but unbreakable in its refusal to fully experience the depth and richness of love. The heart once meant to beat with passion and connection, becomes confined and restricted.

Courageous Love: The Key to True Connection

As you ponder these reflections, consider this additional nugget of wisdom: to love genuinely, one must be courageous. It’s a bold statement that challenges the notion of love as a passive emotion. According to this perspective, love requires an active and daring spirit and a willingness to face vulnerability head-on.

Imagine the courage it takes to unwrap your heart from the protective layers of destractions, hobbies and luxuries, to let it beat freely in the open, vulnerable to the unpredictable dance of emotions. To love courageously means acknowledging the potential for heartache while embracing the profound joy that love brings.

A Call to Embrace Vulnerability

So, as you continue your journey of love, consider the words of C.S. Lewis as a guide. To love at all is to be vulnerable, but in that vulnerability lies the true beauty of connection and the richness of the human experience. Be courageous, unwrap your heart, and let it beat with the rhythm of love.

Until next time – Heart to Heart and Blessings Abound, Elizabeth

And thank you for reading my blog.

If you KNOW YOURSELF, you will TRUST YOURSELF

Most people ask this question at one point in their life. And it’s often when their life is not looking or feeling as good as they would like.

“What is the point of my life, why I am here and as any of this really matter?”

And the answer will usually be something along the lines of…

Know Yourself
Trust Yourself
Love Yourself
And
Live Your Larger Story

But what does that really mean?

I was born with a strong impulse to share…

I share simply because I love sharing, not because I think I have some profound wisdom, but rather because I am a human being that STORY wants to move through. I have a lot to say because there is a lot to say, and there is a wealth of STORY in the cosmos keen to birth itself onto our planet at this present time.

What I have to say, is really more about the “what, why and how” of making oneself ready, willing and available for the appropriate stories to find the appropriate people.

And it is our shining spirit that story is rightly attracted to – but unfortunately, it’s the constant distractions and our addiction to the busyness that blocks our connection to our own spirit, which then creates a lack of adhesion to the powerful stories that want to find their way to our hearts. Every generation needs powerful stories to advance its evolution, but if a story doesn’t connect to the spirit of a human the story has no soul, and a story with no soul dies, which is a vulnerable place for humans to live in or grow from.

Stories are constantly knocking on our hearts to advance humanity so we can navigate our way through each generation. And without these appropriate, soulful stories our cultures can struggle to grow because they lose the ability to recognize the importance of ‘overcoming obstacles’ and the discipline to absolutely ‘protect their hope’, which ultimately fuels their vision and passion for a brighter future.

I designed the Living Attributes Typology as a tool to help women become powerful vessels so they can live their larger story, a story that they feel, is worthy of sharing and celebrating… a story that will genuinely inspire future generations.

So, peeps the term ‘know yourself’ in the Living Attributes system is associated with knowing “you”,  your history, your backstory, your true nature and how it has influenced your life. And how it can potentially inspire or add value to other peoples lives.
