Love invites the Heart, but true Beauty invites the Soul.
Hi there all,
Well 25 years of the afternoon cuppa and a chat with Oprah are over. What can I say, other than What A Woman!!
She has inspired women, educated women but more than anything liberated women. Her ability to stay true to her feminine nature was unforgettable, she allowed her emotional self to be present at all times and that is one of the most important strengths we have as women. I praise her committment and conviction, in remaining a spiritual woman in a very public arena. She often struggled with her weight, but we didn’t care about how she looked, because it was her spirit so pure and giving that we were so hungry for, all we saw was the beauty of her soul. She is the most celebrated and influential woman in the world today, incredible. – We love her because she ignited something in us, that showed us, we all can make a difference.
Oprah Winfrey will go down in history as one of the greatest female change-catalysts of all time. Her ability to honor and take care of her own God-Given gift of being an excellent communicator, is something to be eternally grateful for. She has used her vocation to serve many, she is an exquisite example of – when you know what you want to give, the universe responds.
She showed us what is possible when you stay true to your Gift, and know that it’s not only about your own gain, but rather about serving the world.
Your jewels Oprah have been many – Hope, Love, Respect, Compassion, Humour, Beauty, Understanding, Insight, Knowledge.
Thank you Oprah for showing us the way, I know you have been like a big sister to me. XOX
So girls, lets keep the torch burning by remembering our own God-Given Gifts, and find our way in the world that can serve many.

RE-POST from May 22nd, 2011
I was asked to be a mentor by a young woman – My first thoughts were…
Do I have time for it?
Am I wise enough to be a mentor?
Does one get paid for such a thing?
Blah Blah Blah !
Because it set off so many thought processes around it, I knew I needed to step back and look at what was really happening here. I then saw how my ego was trying to trip me up.
Once I had given myself some time to be still and see what I was really being asked to do – it was clear. For someone to ask you to mentor them is a God given privilege and an honorable duty to accept with grace.
The process of meeting with this delightful young woman was actually a gift to me as well; it has moved me forward on my own journey. It became very clear to me that it is a natural and essential way for humans to interact and grow. Since then I have been asked to mentor 2 other young women and I look forward to each of their visits with absolute excitement.

Unfortunately some parents don’t even recognize they are mentors for their children and I think if the aged population had a young person visiting them for mentoring once a fortnight they to would be alive with purpose and active in ways they didnt know possible. Simply listening to the thoughts and perspectives of a young person would help to stimulate their thinking and expand their world. And of course the wisdom and stories that an elder can pass on are equally as valuable to our youth.
After a year of mentoring I came to the conclusion that ‘If you are not mentoring, you need to be mentored’ it is a continuum so to speak. A giving back to the world, your community, through your life experiences and a receiving process that comes with a level of respect that one cant find anywhere else in life.
I strongly believe that the rightful practice of mentoring in our world is the key to true human sustainability.
What follows is a small piece I wrote on the matter:
The Power of Mentoring –
Through the simple act of being a Mentor or being Mentored, we uncover our true purpose in life.
It is from this revered action of commitment and appreciation that an individual’s generosity and integrity abound.
From our somewhat hidden nature we find strength and unity.
We miraculously blossom and move forward with hope in our hearts for the generations to come.

My books are a result of my personal discoveries – They support women, young and not so young, who wish to activate their valuable wisdom and who want to birth their Light Leader within.

And that’s why my intention for Temple de Lumiere is to awaken within the women who attend, a sense of responsibility about what part of that change they want to participate in. Temple de Lumiere celebrates life on our beautiful planet Earth, and through our collective impulse of love and joy in our hearts, we can generously direct and pass on to other life forms around the world. (Forests, animals, ocean, families, communities etc.)
The current trend is indeed to correct and connect; we have in some ways successfully done this through the power of our new technology, and I have to say in a very short time span. I believe we are now at the next stage of our development though, which appears to be at an acceleration point in our human evolution, it is now time for our unity consciousness to do the same; correct and connect.
The impulse to survive is encoded in our DNA and women understand the nature of ‘sustaining life’ more than anyone. We are encoded with the process of creation; birth, life, rebirth and we can extend that power from our hearts to the whole planet.
We can as a feminine collective birth a whole new and effective symbiotic system on planet Earth, that can sustain all life. My hope is that as we come together as one divine body, we will create the positive changes needed to sustain life, not for just a few, but for the greater good of all.
