THE CYCLE OF ETERNITY: Exploring the Concept of Reincarnation

The essence of who you are—the core of your being—your Higher Self remains constant, flowing from one life to another, like a river that continues through time.

This idea brings forth a sense of profound comfort and liberation. It challenges the fear of death that often grips one’s heart, for if you truly comprehend the concept of reincarnation, you realize that death is not an end but a gateway. It becomes a passage to new experiences, relationships, and challenges, contributing to your soul’s evolution.

Reincarnation also invites you to view your fellow beings with renewed understanding and compassion. The person next to you, the stranger you pass on the street, could be someone you’ve known in a different time and form. This understanding encourages you to treat others with kindness and empathy, recognizing the interconnectedness of our journeys.

As I ponder these ideas, I am reminded of the cyclical nature of life itself—the changing seasons, the rising and setting of the Sun, the ebb and flow of tides. Reincarnation aligns perfectly with this cyclical rhythm, reinforcing the idea that nothing truly ends but instead transforms into something new. Just as winter yields to spring and night gives way to the day, your life moves through these cycles, with death merely being the bridge that connects one phase to another.

The following is the longer version of my new extended narrative and timeline that I crafted into my past life, as a Temple Priestess during my service at the Pantheon in Rome. – It’s long, but I believe it provides a good example of whats possible when creating and extend story for a past life that needs attention and a new timeline.

THE ORACLE OF DOLCE PAESE

When the temple was abandoned, the temple pantheon in Rome, many temple women left to create a new life. I decided to go with the other women, but in unfamiliar surroundings, I got lost, stumbled on a rock, and fell to my knees. I carefully crawled to a small nearby cave and lay silent for days until all signs of danger were over. My only company was a few wild animals who came to keep me warm at night. My first visit was from a family of Lynx, a mother and her two cubs.

Next was a very playful Badger who bought me a few berries, roots, and greens, which I could eat and place on my wound. It felt like I was in their care for about a month, but it might have only been a week. It doesn’t matter about the time, but rather when I was strong enough to walk again. I knew I needed to keep moving to find a new abode. I walked along a marked path, where there was shade from time to time, and I used to rest and experience the exquisite scenery in the distance; I could see a pretty town soon to be my new home, my paesano.

Now if I hadn’t decided to go deep into my past life, I would still be cycling the deep subconscious memory back to the feeling of being lost and no one coming to help me, along with a deep sense of aloneness.

But because I decided to go deep into my life of service to the Pantheon in Rome, which kept surfacing as deep grief.

It appeared that I’d lost my way and was discarded by the other women. – This abandoned, betrayed, or forsaken feeling has been a theme in another lifetime, not with women, but on the battlefield as a Japanese Warriors.

However, this new story and discovery connected to my Pantheon lifetime brought me so much clarity and healing instead of being sad that I can’t do the practises that I did with absolute delight in the past. I decided to choose a new timeline from my imagination. After completing this part of my new timeline story, pure delight did return when I looked up what the Lynx and the Badger animal medicine meant. Lynx is the keeper of the secrets of lost magical systems and knowledge. Lynx medicine is an exceptional type of clairvoyance that fits precisely with the knowledge I gained from my life at the Pantheon. I was equally delighted to discover the meaning of the Badger, who was often connected to medicine women. The Badger is also the keeper of the medicine roots and can be used for healing. So, in my new timeline story, the Badger stayed with me, bringing me medicine that could heal me.

The message from the Badger was also clear –

Badger, dear one, until you reach your goal, Know the inner power that lives in your Soul.

The message from the Lynx passed to me was –

You now know the secrets so very well, the Dreamtime and the magic, but must never tell. May I learn to hold my tongue and observe like the Sphinx, powerful yet silent; this is the medicine of Lynx.

With all this known knowledge, I entered my next realm of creation, my new habitat, my new sun-filled town of belonging, where I became the town’s Visionary and Oracle. As I get closer to the village, I can feel the peace and simplicity of its presence.

Each of my steps becomes lighter and lighter with the anticipation of my new life. A rhythm of hope and gratitude was propelling me along the path. Near the first road into the town, a man pulling a large barrow of sticks pauses to introduce himself.

Just as he was about to open his mouth to speak, his dog started barking and came over to me, wagging his tail; actually, his whole body was wagging. The man smiled and said, “Buongiorno signorina, I am Romanus of Dolce Paese. Do you need a place to rest or seek a home?” I replied, “Buongiorno, I am Elisabetta, and I’m seeking Paesano, Sir; the Pantheon in Rome was my home and place of service but no more.” He replied, well, welcome to Dolce Paese; we are humble yet happy people consisting of many small communities within the larger community. I’m sure you will like it here and will find your people. He nodded as he started to move on with his cart. Then said, the Gods will guide you. I thanked him and sent him a blessing of kindness for his hospitable manner.

It was still early in the day, and people were only beginning to come out of their homes. I gently nodded to them as I passed, and they did the same. It wasn’t only people I noticed that morning. I was being shown the beauty and artistry of the town – everywhere I looked, the morning sun was kissing all the creations and shrines placed all around the town for people to bring their sacred offerings, blessings, and prayers. My first stop was the beautiful well at the centre of the village – the women of the town had created patterns of nature all around the walls of the well. It was made from the broken water vessels they bring to the well for their daily family water supply, demonstrating their desire to sustain and beautify their environment.

These pretty stories reminded the community of how everything and everyone has a purpose and meaning. And to respect life as an ongoing gift that creates opportunities for you to experience and be experienced. Resting on a bench near the well, I watched the women come and go. They came for water, but it was much more than the water they came for – the daily visit to the well ensured they maintained a connection with the women of the village who they had known for many years. Each woman would collect the water, sit on the large stones near the well and share stories and seeds or other produce. I could see the well was their temple of giving and receiving. Even though the women knew I was there, they didn’t introduce themselves, and I wasn’t ready to tell my story.

However, there was one particular visitor who did come and make herself known. It was a sweet sandy cat with a kind affection for me. There were always cats at the Pantheon who were known as our temple cats, and this little one was indeed making me melancholy. But I knew it would do me no good to allow myself to return to what was no more, so I decided to stroll around the village. I could feel my heart was vulnerable and needed some care. Thankfully, my little cat was still with me; she reminded me that I was not alone and would be known and available to the women in time.

My little cat and I, now Sabbia, embarked on an adventure to find all the sacred sites around the village. There were 12 in all, each honouring a goddess; as we strolled around the outskirts of the town, we came across several beautifully crafted shrines home to specific attributes and activities.

VENUS: The Roman Goddess of Love, Beauty, Fertility, Prosperity, and Desire

DIANA: The Roman Goddess of Hunting, Modesty, Moon, and Wild Animals

AURORA: The Roman Goddess of the Dawn and sharing ideas of brightness.

MINERVA: The Roman Goddess of Wisdom, Science, and Education

SPES: The Roman Goddess of Promise, Appreciation and Prosperity.

VESTA: The Roman Goddess of the Heavenly Home, Hearth, and Family.

VERITAS: The Goddess of Virtue, Truth and Wholeness

IRIS: The Roman Goddess of the Rainbow, a bridge between Heaven and Earth

LIBERTAS: The Roman Goddess of Freedom and the Pursuit of Excellence

JUNO: The Goddess of Union and Eternal Youthfulness

CERES: The Roman Goddess of Agriculture, Growth and Women

LUNA: The Roman Goddess of the Moon and the Power of Cycles

Each shrine had its unique charm and significance, and as I stood before each one, I felt a connection to the goddess it represented. It was as if they welcomed me into their realm, acknowledging my past life at the Pantheon and guiding me towards my new role as the Visionary and Oracle of Dolce Paese.

As Sabbia and I continued our exploration, we met some locals going about their daily tasks. The villagers were warm and welcoming, greeting me with smiles and nods of recognition. Romanus was right; this community was humble yet full of happiness and friendship. One of the villagers, an older woman named Dora, invited us into her home for refreshments.

Her house was cozy and adorned with beautiful tapestries and artwork, each telling a unique story. Over tea, Dora shared some of the town’s history and traditions, including their reverence for the goddesses and the importance of maintaining harmony with nature.

Dora was intrigued by my background as a temple woman and an oracle. She expressed how the town had always felt like there was a missing piece, and she wondered if my arrival was the answer to their prayers. Her words touched me, and I realized that maybe I had been guided to Dolce Paese for a purpose beyond my understanding. As days turned into weeks, I became more integrated into the community. The women at the well eventually started approaching me, sensing the healing energy I carried with me. They would call out my name, “A Elisabetta come sit with us we have berries and curd”. They shared their stories, joys, and sorrows, and I listened with compassion, offering guidance and solace where needed.

Sabbia became a familiar sight in the village, and children often gathered around her, giggling and playing with the friendly feline. Word spread about the mysterious woman with the healing touch and the cat who seemed to possess an otherworldly presence. Every full moon, the villagers would gather at the shrine of Luna, the goddess of the moon, to celebrate and seek blessings.

During these gatherings, I would share visions and messages from the goddesses, offering insights and advice to those seeking guidance. The villagers came to trust my abilities, and I, in turn, felt a profound connection to the divine energies that flowed through me. As the seasons changed, Dolce Paese became a blaze of colours and festivities. I participated in their ancient rituals, honouring the goddesses and the natural cycles that governed their lives. Together, we celebrated the harvest, the changing phases of the moon, and the unity of the community.

One day, as I was exploring the outskirts of Dolce Paese, I discovered a hidden grove that seemed to emanate mysterious energy. As I ventured deeper into the woods, I came across a magnificent, ancient oak tree standing tall at the grove’s centre. It had been adorned with intricately woven garlands and colourful ribbons, a beautiful display of devotion and reverence. I felt an immediate connection to this sacred space, and as I looked closer, I discovered a well-crafted shrine nestled between the tree’s exposed roots. The tree had been carved with symbols of the moon, stars, and flowing rivers, honouring the great Goddess Asherah, the divine mother and giver of life.

A traveller once told me of Asherah when I was in Rome. For centuries, she was revered as the great Canaanite Mother Goddess and considered the most important deity in the Canaanite Pantheon. She was also a well-known goddess in the northwest Semitic Pantheon. Asherah, also known as the Shekinah, was the beloved consort of Yahweh and the divine embodiment of motherly love.

I had found a secret Mother Tree Shrine where women would come to seek blessings for fertility, protection, and abundance. I felt the affection and presence of the Mother Goddess in the gentle rustling of the leaves and the whispers of the wind. This secret haven became my sanctuary, where I could commune with Asherah and draw strength from the ancient energies flowing through the Mother Tree Shrine.

With time, I even found myself in the company of Romanus more frequently. We would sit by the well and exchange stories about our pasts, hopes, and dreams. Romanus was a wise man for his age, and his insights complemented my own, creating a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all beings. One evening, as the sun set behind the hills, turning the sky into hues of orange and pink, Romanus took my hand and looked into my eyes with a gentle smile.

He confessed that he had felt a strong connection to me from the moment we first met, and he believed it was a sign from the gods that we were meant to be together. My heart skipped a beat, and I realized the feeling was mutual. The sorrow I carried from my past life at the Pantheon was slowly replaced by a newfound love and sense of belonging in Dolce Paese. As I looked around at the beauty of the village and the people who had welcomed me with open arms, I knew that this was where my heart truly belonged.

From that moment on, Romanus and I became inseparable. We shared laughter, love, and dreams for the future. He supported my role as the Visionary Oracle, and together, we continued to enrich the lives of the villagers with the wisdom and blessings of the goddesses. Time passed, and Sabbia surprised us all when she gave birth to a litter of adorable kittens. The villagers believed it to be a sign of prosperity and good fortune, and they adored the little feline family, showering them with love and care. The bond between the villagers and I grew, and they started calling me “Mamma Sabbia” in honour of the cat that had brought me into their lives. It was a term of endearment that touched my heart deeply, and I felt a sense of fulfilment I had never experienced before.

As the years passed, I became a beloved figure in Dolce Paese, and my role as the oracle expanded beyond the village’s borders. People from far-off lands sought my guidance, and my reputation as a seer and mentor spread throughout the region. I continued to embrace the teachings of Lynx and Badger, using their animal wisdom to help those who sought my counsel. Despite the recognition, I remained humble and grounded, never forgetting the divine purpose that had brought me to this enchanting village. The love I shared with Romanus flourished, and our daily connection deepened. We soon built a home and sanctuary to share our joys, sorrows, and dreams.

Amid happiness and prosperity, I always remained aware of the temple Pantheon in Rome, which had once been my home. I sent silent prayers to the goddesses, expressing gratitude for the lessons they had taught me and the new life they had guided me towards. The grief I had carried transformed into a sense of peace and closure, knowing I had found my true purpose in Dolce Paese.

One evening, as I sat beneath the moonlit sky, I closed my eyes and felt the presence of the goddesses surrounding me. I thanked them for guiding me on this incredible journey and leading me to a place of love, belonging, and purpose. The stars seemed to twinkle with joy as if celebrating the fulfilment of a divine plan. With the goddesses’ blessings, I continued to serve as the Visionary and Oracle, offering guidance and kindness to all who sought it. The village thrived, its people living in harmony with each other and the natural world around them.

Romanus and I grew old together as the years turned into decades, our love enduring the tests of time. Sabbia and her descendants continued to be a cherished part of our lives, their playful spirits a constant reminder of the magic that had brought us together. The women lovingly maintained the sacred shrines around the village, each generation passing down the stories and traditions that connected them to the goddesses. Dolce Paese remained a place of wonder, attracting travellers and seekers from all corners of the world.

My role as the oracle had become deeply intertwined with the fabric of the village, and I knew that when my time came to leave this earthly realm, my spirit would forever be a part of the village. The cycle of life and rebirth continued, just like the phases of the moon that Luna presided over.

One warm summer evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the village, I sat on the bench by the well, looking at the faces of the women who had become like sisters to me. Romanus sat by my side, holding my hand, his eyes reflecting the love and contentment we had shared for many years.

I closed my eyes and allowed the gentle breeze to caress my face. At that moment, I felt the presence of the goddesses enveloping me, their divine energy whispering in the wind. I knew my time as the Visionary and Oracle was ending, and it was time for a new soul to carry the torch of wisdom and healing. As the moon rose high in the sky, casting its silver light upon the village, I took a deep breath, ready to embrace the next phase of my journey. With gratitude, I whispered a final prayer to the goddesses, thanking them for the gift of Dolce Paese, where I had found love, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

The villagers gathered around, sensing the moment that was unfolding. They knew that a new chapter was beginning, and yet, the Visionary and Oracle legacy would forever be etched into the heart of the town. With a serene smile, I turned to Romanus and the women who had become my family. “Thank you,” I whispered, my voice carrying the weight of a thousand stories and blessings. “I am forever grateful for the love and joy you have brought into my life.”

In the following years, a new oracle emerged in Dolce Paese, a young woman touched by the divine energies flowing through the village. The sacred shrines continued to be a source of inspiration and wonder, and the legacy of the Visionary and Oracle lived on in the villagers’ hearts.

As for me, my spirit lingered in Dolce Paese, intertwined with the threads of love and belonging that had woven through the village for generations.

I became a guardian of the sacred land and my beloved Mother Tree, a silent presence that watched over the people, their joys, and their sorrows. With every full moon, as Luna’s light bathed the village in silver, the villagers would gather at the shrine and offer their prayers, knowing that the goddesses were listening, and their blessings would continue to shower upon them.

And so, the tale of the abandoned Temple Pantheon in Rome found its resolution in the enchanting village of Dolce Paese. Elisabetta left her old life behind but discovered a new beginning, a home where love, magic, and purpose intertwined, and the Living Goddess’s wisdom lived on through the ages. As the years passed and new generations took root in the town, the story of the Oracle Elisabetta and her cat became a cherished legend, passed down from mothers to daughters, a reminder of the power of love, healing, and the unseen forces that guided their lives.

And so, the tale continues, weaving its magic through time and space, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the eternal dance between the mortal and the divine. The abandoned temple pantheon may have faded into history and is a very different church today, but the original pantheon legacy lives on in spirit. – And so it is
